IOWA CITY, IA — Cody Zeller scored 19 points as #5 Indiana downed Iowa 69-65 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in the Big Ten opener for both teams.
Zeller and the Hoosiers (13-1) led throughout the second half, but Iowa (11-3) rallied and had a shot at a game-tying three-pointer with less than a minute remaining. After it rimmed out, the Hoosiers made enough free throws to hold on.
Wayne Larrivee and Pete Gillen called the action on Westwood One Sports.
