Patrick Willis on playing the Patriots on Sunday Night Football

12/15/2012

There’s a huge matchup on top tomorrow night in Foxboro – which is something we could’ve written last Sunday, on the eve of what turned out to be New England’s comprehensive demolition of the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football.

This time the primetime spotlight will shine on the Patriots taking on another of the NFL’s elite teams in the NFC West-leading San Francisco 49ers.

The Niners come into the game needing a win to stay ahead of the surging Seattle Seahawks and to get it, their #1 defense will need to slow down Tom Brady.

Ahead of the game, our Scott Graham spoke with 49ers All-Pro Patrick Willis.

(Listen to Patrick Willis’s interview with Scott Graham from 12/15/12)

Coverage of the 49ers and the Patriots begins at 7:30 Eastern with NFL Sunday, hosted by Scott Graham. Dave Sims, James Lofton and sideline reporter Steve Tasker will have all the action from Gillette Stadium begins at 8.
