ATLANTA – Mike Smith and Matt Ryan got their first playoff win, but it was anything but easy.
The top-seeded Atlanta Falcons needed a 49-yard Matt Bryant field goal to earn a 30-28 victory in a Divisional playoff game on Sunday after Russell Wilson and the Seahawks rallied from a 20-0 deficit to take the lead late.
Seattle trailed by 20 at the half, but took a 28-27 lead on Marshawn Lynch’s TD run with :31 on the clock. But after the kickoff, Matt Ryan completed back-to-back passes to set up Bryant’s game-winning kick.
Dave Sims and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One Sports.
