Pro Bowl Highlights: NFC 62 – AFC 35

01/27/2013

Kyle RudolphHONOLULU — The NFC set a Pro Bowl record for most points scored in a 62-35 victory in the 2013 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl, but most importantly the players redeemed themselves after a lackluster effort last time around and perhaps saved the game itself.

All week, both teams preached that they would play hard in the game and it showed on the field – especially on the NFC side.

Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes and Kyle Rudolph was named the games MVP after a five-catch, 122-yard performance, which included a great touchdown catch on the final play of the first half.

A.J. Green had three touchdown catches in a losing effort for the AFC.

Dave Sims and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One Sports.

(Peyton Manning’s TD pass to A.J. Green puts the AFC up 7-0)

(Drew Brees answers with a 36-yd TD pass to Vincent Jackson to tie it at 7-7)

(Derrick Johnson’s 42-yd interception return puts the AFC up 14-10)

(Eli Manning hits Victor Cruz and it’s 17-14 NFC)

(Marshawn Lynch takes it in and the lead is 24-14)

(Manning finds Kyle Rudolph and the NFC takes a 31-14 lead into the half)

(Russell Wilson’s TD pass to Doug Martin makes it 38-14)

(The AFC cuts it to 38-21 on Matt Schaub’s TD pass to Josh Cribbs)

(Wilson hits Larry Fitzgerald to make it 45-21)

(Vincent Jackson’s 2nd TD catch of the game makes it 52-21)

(Andrew Luck finds A.J. Green to cut the score to 55-28)

(Jerome Felton’s TD run makes it 62-28)
