LOS ANGELES – Arizona was a common Final Four pick early in the season, but after struggling at times during the regular season and falling to UCLA in Pac-12 Tournament semifinals, the Wildcats dropped to a sixth seed for the NCAA Tournament. No matter, as that makes the Cats the second best seed remaining in the wild, wild West Regional.
After convincing wins over Belmont and Harvard, the competition looks to ratchet up for Sean Miller’s squad on Thursday night as they take an Ohio St. Buckeyes team coming in on the high of a last-second win thanks to Aaron Craft’s buzzer-beater.
Ahead of the game, our Bill Frieder had a chance to talk with the head coach of the Wildcats.
