BROOKLYN, NY – For the first time in school history, St. Louis is the champion of the Atlantic 10 tournament.
The Billikens added to their regular season conference title with a 62-56 victory over VCU in Sunday’s championship game in Brooklyn.
Kwamain Mitchell scored 19 points to lead St. Louis, which also 16 from tournament MVP Dwayne Evans. Treveon Graham led all scorers with 20 points for VCU in defeat.
