MISSOULA, MT – A matchup of the two best teams in the Big Sky Conference lived up to its billing, as Montana secured their NCAA Tournament bid with a 67-64 victory over Weber State.
Kareem Jamar came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points for Montana, with Will Cherry adding 18. Weber State put four players in double-figures, with Scott Bamforth, Davion Berry and Joel Bolomboy each scoring a dozen points apiece.
The two teams carried combined conference records of 37-3 heading into Saturday night’s showdown.
