SAN JOSE, CA – Syracuse’s final year in the Big East before jumping to the ACC was an interesting one to say the least.
From the highs of coach Jim Boeheim’s 900th win and a run to the Big East Tournament championship game to the lows of managing a meager 39 points against Georgetown and the end of a long home winning streak at the hands of Louisville.
First up in the tournament, the 4th-seeded Orange take on the champions of the Big Sky, Montana, on Thursday in San Jose.
Bill Frieder caught up with Boeheim ahead of the game.
