Second Round Highlights: (3) Marquette 59 – (14) Davidson 58

03/21/2013

Tent LockettLEXINGTON, KY – What was looking like the first stunning upset of the NCAA Tournament instead turned into the first stunning last-minute comeback staged by an advancing team.

Trailing 53-46 with just over 90 seconds left in regulation, Marquette ended the game on a 13-5 run to stun Davidson, 59-58. As the worst three-point shooting team in the entire field of 68, the Golden Eagles buried three huge treys down the stretch to aid their comeback.

Kevin Kugler and Jamal Mashburn called the action on Westwood One Sports.
