Valparaiso’s Bryce Drew on facing Michigan St. in Auburn Hills

DREWAUBURN HILLS, MI – Hard to believe it’s been 15 years since Bryce Drew provided one of the signature moments in NCAA Tournament history.

But 15 years is a long time, and if Valparaiso pulls off another upset in Thursday’s opening round game against Michigan St., it’ll be Bryce wearing the suit in a photo similar to the one to the left — not his dad Homer, who was the Crusaders’ coach back then.

Ahead of the game, our Tom McCarthy and Kelly Tripucka sat down with the current Coach Drew.
