Frozen Four Highlights: Yale 3 – UMass Lowell 2 F/OT

Connor Hellebuyck, Andrew Miller, Chad RuhwedelPITTSBURGH, PA – Andrew Miller scored in overtime to give Yale a 3-2 victory over UMass Lowell in Thursday’s first semifinal at the Frozen Four.

Yale led 2-o after first-period goals from Mitch Witek and Antoine Laganiere, while the River Hawks answered with two goals 14 seconds apart in the second period.

Miller’s game-winner sends the Bulldogs into Saturday’s final to face the winner of Quinnipiac and St. Cloud State.

Sean Grande and Cap Raeder called the action on Westwood One Sports.
