SPOKANE, WA – It took an extra five minutes, but the California Golden Bears won’t mind a bit as they’re headed to their first Final Four thanks to a 65-62 overtime victory over Georgia in Monday night’s Spokane Regional Final.
Layshia Clarendon led all scorers with 25 points as Cal rallied from a ten-point deficit late to force overtime.
Cal moves on to New Orleans for a Sunday matchup with the winner of Tuesday night’s Tennessee-Louisville game.
