Full Interview: Duke head coach John Danowski

05/25/2013

Duke LAXPHILADELPHIA — Saturday’s men’s lacrosse semifinals begin with a matchup of two teams that the seedings say shouldn’t be here, as seventh-seeded Duke takes on unseeded Cornell.

The Blue Devils earned a seventh straight trip to the lacrosse final four by ousting second-seeded Notre Dame last weekend in thrilling come-from-behind fashion. The Big Red punched their ticket to Philly in a completely different fashion, rolling through the first two rounds by a combined score of 32-14 over Maryland and Ohio State.

Ahead of the game against Cornell, our Dave Ryan and Steve Panarelli spoke with Duke head coach John Danowski.
