Syracuse John Desko InterviewPHILADELPHIA — Syracuse will go for its 12th lacrosse national championship on Monday when it takes on Duke at Lincoln Financial Field.

It’s just where the experts would’ve expected the top-seeded Orange to be, but it wasn’t easy getting there. Syracuse had to rally in the final minute of Saturday’s semifinal to tie and then take the lead against Denver in a 9-8 win. It was the Orange’s second straight last-second win after coming from behind against Yale in the quarterfinals.

Next up, it’s Duke for the title. Ahead of the game, our Dave Ryan and Steve Panarelli had a chance to speak with the head coach of the Orange, John Desko.
