OMAHA, NE – For the first time in school history, Mississippi State is into the finals of the College World Series.
The Bulldogs defeated Oregon State 4-1 to cap a perfect run through preliminary play.
Hunter Renfroe had the big hit in the game, blasting a three-run home run in the 5th inning to put MSU up 4-0.
Mississippi State will face either North Carolina or UCLA in the best-of-three championship series, which will begin on Monday night.
