OMAHA, NE – Oregon State avoided elimination at the College World Series with an 11-4 victory over Louisville on Monday afternoon.
Andy Peterson was 3-for-4 and scored three runs, while Max Gordon and Dylan Davis each drove in a pair for the Beavers.
Four Louisville errors led to six unearned runs in the early going and Oregon State never looked back.
The Beavers will face the loser of tonight’s Mississippi State-Indiana game in another elimination game on Wednesday, while Louisville’s run at the CWS is over.
Kevin Kugler and John Bishop called the action.
