ST. LOUIS – Frank Gore carried the ball 20 times for 153 yards and a touchdown and the San Francisco 49ers looked like the team that fell just short of a Super Bowl championship last season, crushing the St. Louis Rams 35-11 on Thursday Night Football.
Colin Kaepernick added two touchdown passes in the victory as San Francisco improved to 2-2 on the year. The Rams dropped to 1-3.
