ATLANTA – Nick Folk’s 43-yard field goal as time expired gave the New York Jets a 30-28 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
Rookie Geno Smith threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, which improved the Jets to 3-2 on the season.
Atlanta dropped its third straight game to fall to 1-4, in spite of Matt Ryan’s go-ahead touchdown pass to Levine Tollolo with less than two minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
