Rod Woodson on cheering injuries, the best young QB in the NFL and more

Lightning RodIt wasn’t a pretty scene last Sunday in Houston when Texans quarterback Matt Schaub got hurt – and in this case it wasn’t because the injury was particularly gruesome. Instead, it was the reaction of the home fans, some of whom cheered when the struggling quarterback went down.

In the latest installment of Lightning Rod, our Hall of Fame analyst Rod Woodson has an opinion on that behavior by the fans. He also picks his top young quarterback in the league and names his Game of the Week, Denver at Indianapolis.
