2013 Tipoff Showcase Classic

WestwoodOne’s coverage of NCAA Basketball for the 2013-2014 season will begin and end in North Texas. We’ll kick things off on Friday, November 8 with the Tip-off Showcase from Dallas.

There are three games being played in American Airlines Arena and we will broadcast them all, starting at 4:45 PM Eastern with Oklahoma versus Alabama. That’s followed at 7:15 PM Eastern by a doubleheader that’s 75% Texan. Local rivals SMU and TCU will square off first, followed by former Big 12 foes Baylor and Colorado. Brad Sham will handle play-by-play duties with former Michigan and Arizona State head coach Bill Frieder as our analyst.

You will also be able to listen to the broadcasts right here on WestwoodOneSports.com.

It’s just the beginning of a season’s worth of great hoops action on WestwoodOne that will take you through to the Final Four, to be played April 5th & 7th, 2014 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. We’ll also have the annual Preseason NIT Tournament from Madison Square Garden later next month.
Westwood One will broadcast both the Semifinals and Finals, on Wednesday, November 27th and Friday, November 29th.

A complete schedule of NCAA Basketball broadcasts on WestwoodOne Sports will be released in the coming weeks.
