NEW YORK CITY – Arizona’s five starters all scored in double-figures as the Wildcats beat Duke 72-66 to win the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden.
Nick Johnson led Arizona with 15 points, Brandon Ashley had 13 and Aaron Gordon, Kaleb Tarczewski and T.J. McConnell each added 10 points.
Rodney Hood led the Blue Devils with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Dave Sims and Kelly Tripucka called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
