MANHATTAN, KS – Bob Stoops became the winningest coach in Oklahoma football history as the Sooners defeated Kansas State 41-31 on Saturday.
With his 158th victory at Oklahoma, Stoops passes Barry Switzer for the most all-time at one of college football’s long-time powerhouses. The Sooners got the win in an old-school style too, rushing for 301 yards on 52 carries while attempting just 21 passes. The OU run defense was equally impressive, limiting the Wildcats to just 24 yards on 22 attempts.
Tom McCarthy and Chris Doering called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
