MIAMI – Ryan Tannehill’s long TD pass to Charles Clay put Miami ahead midway through the third quarter and the Dolphins defense held on late in a 20-16 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
Tannehill was 22 of 35 for 268 yards in the win, which improved Miami to 5-5 on the season. San Diego dropped to 4-6 with the loss.
