This Week in the NCAA 2012With the NCAA basketball season kicking into gear this weekend, Kevin Kugler has the details on a series of rules changes aimed at creating more offense in the men’s game. The changes in what constitutes a foul and how an offensive player is protected when it comes to blocking calls are being made in attempt to reverse a downward trend in scoring.

Also this week, details on the fall championships, including the first to be contested – the men’s and women’s Division III cross country championships to be held November 23rd in Hanover, Indiana.
