MINNEAPOLIS – Adrian Peterson scored a pair of touchdowns as the Minnesota Vikings got their second win of the season with a 34-27 victory over Washington.
The Redskins drove to within a few yards of a game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but the Minnesota defense turned them away to preserve the victory.
In all, Peterson rushed for 75 yards on 20 carries.
