DETROIT – Justin Tucker was a perfect 6-for-6 on field goals – including a career-long 61-yarder to put Baltimore ahead with less than a minute to play – as the Ravens defeated the Detroit Lions 18-16 on Monday night.
Tucker has now connected on an amazing 33 straight field goals since missing a pair of kicks against Cleveland in Week 2.
Detroit had taken the lead with 2:21 remaining in the fourth quarter as Matthew Stafford found Joseph Fauria in the end zone. But after Tucker’s long field goal put the Ravens back ahead, Stafford’s first pass on the ensuing drive was intercepted by Matt Elam to seal a Baltimore victory.
Kevin Harlan and Boomer Esiason called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
