PHILADELPHIA – Quarterback Keenan Reynolds scored three touchdowns as Navy ran over Army 34-7 on Saturday afternoon. The victory is a series-record 12th in a row for the Midshipmen. Army last won in 2001.
Reynolds totaled 136 yards on 30 attempts and increased his touchdown total on the season to 29. In the process, he set a new NCAA record for rushing TDs by a quarterback. The old mark of 27 was set by Navy’s Ricky Dobbs in 2009 and equaled by Kansas State’s Collin Klein two years later.
John Tautges and James Lofton called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
