PHILADELPHIA – So much for taking the night off.
In a game essentially rendered meaningless to Philadelphia thanks to Dallas’ win earlier on Sunday, the Eagles played like it was anything but as they demolished the Chicago Bears 54-11 on Sunday Night Football.
Nick Foles threw a pair of touchdown passes and the Eagles also ran the ball for 289 yards as a team, including 133 yards and two touchdowns for LeSean McCoy.
With a win Chicago would’ve clinched the NFC North. Instead, they’ll play a winner-take-all game with Green Bay next Sunday at Soldier Field. Philadelphia will travel to Dallas next Sunday night for a similar tilt to decide the winner of the NFC East.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
