Countdown to Sochi: Short-track speed skater J.R. Celski

J. R. CelskiFor the first time since 1998, the U.S. short track speed skating team will not feature the biggest name in the spot: Apolo Anton Ohno.

Replacing Ohno won’t be easy – he is the most-decorated American Winter Olympian of all-time – but J.R. Celski is happy to try. Celski set a world record in the 500-meter even in 2012 and will be gunning for gold in Sochi.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
