EAST LANSING – Nik Stauskas hit a tie-breaking three-pointer – one of five on the night for the sophomore guard – as Michigan remained unbeaten in Big Ten play with a 80-75 victory over Michigan State.
The Wolverines also got big games from Derrick Walton Jr. and Caris LeVert, who scored 19 and 17 points respectively. Michigan is now 15-4 overall and 7-0 in the conference.
Gary Harris poured in 27 for Michigan State to lead all scorers, but he couldn’t kept the Spartans from dropping their second game of the season and first in conference play.
