Countdown to Sochi: Amanda and Phil Kessel of Team USA

Amanda KesselIf Team USA is going to come how with medals in men’s and women’s ice hockey, chances are the Kessel family will play a big role. Big brother Phil of the Toronto Maple Leafs will be a part of the men’s squad, while little sister Amanda stars for the women.

The women’s team gets its Olympic schedule underway on Saturday against Finland.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
