Olympic Interview: Slalom gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin

Mikaela Shiffrin IntvSOCHI, Russia – Mikaela Shiffrin became the youngest winner in the history of the slalom at the Olympic Winter Games when she blasted down the hill faster than all of her competitors at the Rosa Khutor Alpine Center on Friday night.

The 18-year-old from Colorado finished more than half of a second faster than the silver medalist, 32-year-old Marlies Schild of Austria.

After conquering the slalom, she stopped by our studios to talk with Kevin Kugler and John Tautges.
