SAN ANTONIO – With a 1-5 mark in the Big Ten earlier this season, Tim Miles and the Nebraska Cornhuskers were widely disregarded. So was Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears who at one point shared a combined 2-11 record with Nebraska in their respective leagues.
Together, their clubs sparked a late-season turnaround that led to Friday’s NCAA Second Round matchup at AT&T Center in San Antonio.
