NCAA Dayton Florida BasketballMEMPHIS, TN – Turns out for Florida, the fourth time is the charm.

After losing in the Elite 8 three straight years, the Gators finally got a victory to advance to the Final Four while also ending the storybook run of 11th-seeded Dayton 62-52 on Saturday in the South Regional Final.

Scottie Wilbekin led the way with 23 points, three assists and three steals. Dyshawn Pierre had 18 points for the Flyers.

Gary Cohen and Will Purdue called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
