MEMPHIS, TN – Turns out for Florida, the fourth time is the charm.
After losing in the Elite 8 three straight years, the Gators finally got a victory to advance to the Final Four while also ending the storybook run of 11th-seeded Dayton 62-52 on Saturday in the South Regional Final.
Scottie Wilbekin led the way with 23 points, three assists and three steals. Dyshawn Pierre had 18 points for the Flyers.
