Zusi at MarylandAs we celebrate the Fourth of July in America, the world continues to focus its attention on the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Sadly for fans of the U.S. Men’s National Team, its involvement in the tournament is over after an extra-time defeat to Belgium earlier this week.

As we look back on the positive and exciting run of the American team, we throw a spotlight on the members of the squad that got their start on the pitches of the NCAA, including midfielder Graham Zusi. Zusi had two assists in Brazil, but well before becoming a star on the world stage, he lifted a pair of College Cups during his time at Maryland.
