HOUSTON – Kenny Hilliard’s 28-yard touchdown run capped LSU’s second-half comeback and sealed a 28-24 win in the season opener for both team.
LSU trailed 24-7 early in the third quarter after Corey Clement’s touchdown run for the Badgers. But the Tigers never gave up, rallying for 21 unanswered points to close out the game and extend the nation’s longest non-conference winning streak to 46 games without a defeat.
