GLENDALE, AZ – Rookie wide receiver John Brown took a screen pass to the end zone for a go-ahead score with a little over two minutes to play on Monday night as the Arizona Cardinals defeated the San Diego Chargers 18-17.
That touchdown was Carson Palmer’s second of the fourth quarter as Arizona rallied from a 17-6 deficit. Touchdowns from Malcom Floyd and Ryan Mathews had given San Diego that edge midway through the third quarter.
Kevin Harlan and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One Sports.
