DETROIT – Calvin Johnson had two touchdown catches and 164 yards receiving on seven catches as the Detroit Lions defeated the New York Giants 35-14 on Monday night at Ford Field.
Matthew Stafford was 22 of 32 with those two touchdown tosses to Johnson and also added a five-yard touchdown run.
Eli Manning and the new-look Giants offense looked out of sync throughout the game. Manning finished 18 of 33 for just 163 yards along with a touchdown and two interceptions.
