SEATTLE, WA – Kevin Hogan’s five-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter was the difference as #16 Stanford held on for a 20-13 victory over Washington at Husky Stadium.
It wasn’t the greatest day overall for Hogan, who threw an interception and lost a fumble, but when it counted the quarterback leaped to the pylon for the go-ahead score.
Washington had tied the game late in the second quarter on Shaq Thompson’s strip and fumble recovery for a touchdown and the score stayed locked at 13-13 until Hogan’s TD.
Jason Benetti and Chad Brown called the action on Westwood One Sports.
