CLEVELAND, OH – Billy Cundiff’s 29-yard field goal with :03 left gave the Cleveland Browns a 26-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.
The win was new Browns coach Mike Pettine’s first as an NFL head coach.
Cleveland led big early, but watched as Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham brought the Saints back ahead with touchdowns either side of halftime.
Rookie running back Terrance West answered with his first NFL touchdown for the Browns, before Mark Ingram’s plunge put New Orleans back ahead.
Brian Hoyer then led the Browns down the field for the game-winning field goal.
Kevin Lee and Mark Malone called the action on Westwood One.
