MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Ryan Tannehill threw three touchdown passes as the Miami Dolphins shut out the San Diego Chargers 37-0 on Sunday at SunLife Stadium.
The Miami defense also starred, allowing San Diego just 178 yards of offense and forcing four Chargers’ turnovers – including three Philip Rivers interceptions.
Tannehill was 24 of 34 for 288 yards and those three touchdowns. He also torched San Diego on the ground with four carries for 47 yards.
Rivers was just 12 for 23 on the day for 138 yards and also had a lost fumble to go with the three picks.
