This Week in the NCAA: D-II and D-III football playoffs underway

This Week in the NCAA 2014It’s December and that means playoffs have either begun or are about to begin in ALL levels of NCAA Football – for the first time ever, thanks to the addition of the College Football Playoff at the FBS level.

Kevin Kugler has the details on the schedules for the FCS, Division II and Division III playoffs, as well as the CFP.

He also has the story of the MIT Engineers, who made the D-III playoffs for the first time ever and even won an opening-round game before falling this past weekend.

All that, plus the details on the D-II Fall Festival, which includes six championships, being held this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky.
