DENVER – In a battle billed on the quarterbacks, it was the Indianapolis defense that had the best day as the Colts defeated the Denver Broncos 24-13 to advance to next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
Andrew Luck had solid numbers overall – 27 of 43 for 265 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions that didn’t cost his team much – but it the Colts’ play against Peyton Manning that stood out.
Manning completed just 26 of 46 passes for 211 yards and managed a quarterback rating of just 75.5.
The Colts will travel to Foxboro to face the New England Patriots next Sunday.
Tom McCarthy and Rod Woodson called the action on Westwood One.
