FRISCO, TX – For the fourth straight year, the Bison of North Dakota State are the champions of the FCS.
Carson Wentz threw for one touchdown and ran for the go-ahead score with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter as North Dakota State defeated Illinois State 29-27.
Esley Thornton’s interception on the Redbirds’ final possession sealed an unprecedented fourth straight title for the Bison.
