This Week in the NCAA: Ohio St. and North Dakota St. capture football titles

Playoff Championship Ohio St Oregon FootballHistory was made twice in the span of three days near Dallas as championship trophies were awarded to the football programs of Ohio State and North Dakota State.

First up, on Saturday in Frisco, North Dakota State won an unprecedented fourth straight FCS championship by defeating Illinois State, which was appearing in its first championship game in program history.

Just a little over 48 hours later, the spotlight shifted to Arlington for the inaugural title tilt in the College Football Playoff, where the #4 seed Ohio State defeated #2 seed Oregon.
