Buffalo-WVU, Maryland-Valpo, Oklahoma-Albany, and Dayton-Providence from Columbus

Site Preview ColumbusCOLUMBUS, OH – Bob Huggins will make a home-coming of sorts to Columbus, when he leads his 12th-seeded Mountaineers against 5th-seeded Buffalo on Friday in a town where he once served as a Buckeyes assistant coach.  In the late afternoon, senior leader Dez Wells and freshman phenom Melo Trimble hope to steer the 4th-seeded Terrapins clear of another Bryce Drew-orchestrated upset (this time from the 13th-seeded Crusaders’ sideline).

The 3rd-seeded Oklahoma Sooners will then look to try to out-run the methodical 14th-seeded Albany Great Danes.  Capping the night off, the 6th-seeded Providence Friars will attempt to silence the crowd in a virtual road game against the 11th-seeded Flyers of Dayton, who are making the short trip from home on the heels of a thrilling 56-55 First Four win over Boise State on Wednesday night.

Dave Sims and Jim Jackson will have the call from Nationwide Arena.
