DAYTON, OH – Three years ago BYU went to the First Four in Dayton and pulled off the biggest rally in NCAA Tournament history in coming from 25 points behind to defeat Iona. On Tuesday, they got a taste of their own medicine as Ole Miss overcame a 17-point deficit to beat the Cougars 94-90.
Stefan Moody had 26 points and five assists to lead the Rebels. Jarvis Summers added 11 points and 10 assists.
BYU’s Tyler Haws led all scorers with 33 points on 13 of 23 shooting and added five rebounds and five assists, but it wasn’t enough as Ole Miss put 62 on the board in the second half to recover from a 49-32 halftime deficit.
