Iowa St.’s “Comeback Kids”, UCLA-SMU and unbeaten Kentucky in action

Site Preview LouisvilleLOUISVILLE, KY – Top-ranked and unbeaten Kentucky will get its tournament run – and what it hopes will be the start of a march to 40-0 – started late tonight in Louisville as they take on Hampton. But that’s just the dessert on a long day of action at the Yum! Center.

It starts early with Fred Hoiberg’s “Comeback Kids” from Iowa State. Fresh off a thrilling win in the Big 12 tournament, the 3rd-seeded Cyclones will take on #14 seed UAB. In the second game of the day, it’ll be 11th-seeded UCLA taking on Larry Brown and the 6th-seeded SMU Mustangs. And prior to the Hampton-Kentucky game, it’ll be a 8-9 matchup between Purdue and Cincinnati.

John Sadak and Bill Frieder will have the call of all four games on Westwood One Sports.
