Tournament Interview: Dayton Head Coach Archie Miller

Archie Miller InterviewCOLUMBUS, OH – The 11th-seeded Dayton Flyers glide into the Third Round to play their sixth game in ten days.  You would never think that–nor that they only have seven scholarship players on their roster–by the way they have been playing–with such high energy and poise for forty minutes.  They will face a stiffer test on Sunday, though, when they take on the 3rd-seeded Oklahoma Sooners.

Dave Sims and Jim Jackson caught up with Archie Miller ahead of the game, wherein he discussed his team’s belief in each other; how his Flyers compare to the Dayton squad that reached the Elite Eight last year; how they handle a lack of depth and navigate foul trouble; how they will match up with Oklahoma on both ends of the floor; and much more.
