INDIANAPOLIS- Tyus Jones scored a game-high 23 points including 19 in the second half to lead the Duke Blue Devils to their fifth national title with a 68-63 championship win over Wisconsin. Jones shot 7 of 13 from the floor and was perfect on seven attempts from the foul stripe to earn Most Outstanding Player honors in the Final Four.
Wisconsin, hoping to avenge a 10-point loss to the Blue Devils in December, led 48-39 with 13:20 remaining, but was outscored 29-15 down the stretch.
National Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky scored 21 points for the Badgers. Joining Jones in double figures for Duke were Grayson Allen with 16, Justise Winslow with 11 and Jahlil Okafor with 10.
